Backup & RecoveryServers, laptops and Microsoft 365 backed up off-site, tested every week, restored in hours.
Tested every week

Lose it. Get it back. Here is how long it takes.

Press what has gone. The right-hand side shows the restore time we work to, how often it is backed up, where it lives and when we last proved it.

Restore times are the targets in the contract; the time each weekly test actually took is on your monthly report.

Run, prove, report

The three habits that make a backup real.

1Every night
It runs

Every job reports in; one that does not raises a ticket before 08:00.

2Every Friday
We restore something real

A file, a mailbox or a whole machine, chosen at random, restored to a new place and checked.

3Every month
The time goes on your report

How long each test took, next to what it would have cost not to have it.

Why we test every week

Because an untested backup is a hope.

The recycle bin is not a backup

Microsoft keeps deleted mail for 30 days and then it is gone. A ransomware attack encrypts the backup drive plugged into the server. Backup is only a backup when it is somewhere else, versioned, and proven to come back.
